U.S. Carbine. Cal. .30,M1
What I would like to do with this website is share some interesting pictures of the M1 Carbine. Some will be unusual or "rare" but most will be the standard WWII GI carbine. The "vet bring back", or the rifles that have not been restored are my favorite ones.
I'd like this to be a place where the new collector can come and see what the heck an early magazine catch should look like, or what do they mean by high wood and low wood stocks?
I am not a firearm expert. Any suggestions you have, or mistakes you would like to point out will be appreciated.
